Myself along with 8-10 families have some serious concerns around traffic and schools because of this new project. I am in touch with Planning staff, Engineering and PUSD to review their agreements and studies. My preliminary analysis of some of the dots do not address any of these issues. At the core is the ability of Hearst Elementary and Pleasanton Middle school's ability to accommodate the additional 300-400 families. Our concerns are how the registration to these schools will change from the current setup due to the increased number. We already spend about 15-18 mins dropping kids at Case Ave during peak school hours and I expect this to increase further. So without mitigating Valley Ave, Case Ave and Sunol Blvd, I dont see how this can solved. I would like to request you the mayor and the rest of the city council to vote against this acceptance till these issues are studied in more detail. t
