Ordinance No. 1596 <br />Page Two <br />7) make other clarifying and updating changes to the <br />Design Guidelines; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD -I /C -0 (Planned Unit <br />Development) - Industrial /Commercial and Office District, <br />and <br />WHEREAS, based on the Initial Environmental Study, a negative <br />declaration was adopted by Council on June 1, 1993; and <br />WHEREAS, Council received the Planning Commission's <br />recommendations for approval of the proposed major <br />modification to the approved planned unit development; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on June 1, 1993; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed PUD modification <br />is consistent with the General Plan policies of the City <br />of Pleasanton. <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1: Approves Case PUD- 81- 30- 27M/PUD- 85 -8 -9M, the <br />application of Prudential Insurance Company for a major <br />modification to an approved Planned Unit Development to <br />modify the conditions of approval of Ordinance No. 1325, <br />subject to the conditions on "Exhibit B" attached hereto <br />and incorporated herein by this reference. <br />Section 2: The City staff is directed to cause a Notice of <br />Determination to be filed pursuant to Section 5.4(g) of <br />Resolution No. 77 -66. <br />Section 3: A summary of this ordinance shall be published once <br />within fifteen (15) days after its adoption in "The Tri- <br />Valley Herald," a newspaper of general circulation <br />published in the City of Pleasanton, and the complete <br />ordinance shall be posted for fifteen (15) days in the <br />City Clerk's office within fifteen (15) days after its <br />adoption. <br />Section 4: This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) days <br />after the date of its final passage and adoption. <br />
