Review the Current Rate Structures for Consistency with Services Delivered In this task, we will review the City's current rate structure, and provide the City with recommendations for potential changes to the rate structure that the City could make to more accurately reflect the services delivered. This task would include assessing residential, commercial, and transfer station rate structures. 5. Survey Rates in Similar Service Areas In this task, we will conduct a survey of rates in similar service areas to the City. Based on previous surveys conducted by the City, areas surveyed likely will include the following fifteen (15) jurisdictions: Castro Valley Sanitary District City of Alameda City of Albany City of Berkeley City of Emeryville City of Fremont City of Dublin City of Hayward MI-11 City of Livermore -- City of Newark City of Oakland City of Piedmont City of San Leandro _ City of Union City Oro Loma Sanitary District. 6. Prepare Report In this task, we will complete a draft report with recommendations. We will provide copies of the draft report to City staff and PGS for their review and comment. We will review the draft report with City staff and resolve any remaining outstanding issues. We also will participate in meetings involving the City and PGS, as needed, to discuss the report contents and receive feedback/comments from PGS on the draft report. We will incorporate comments received from City staff and PGS into a final report. We will provide the City with a final report with recommendations. We will provide the City with a sufficient number of copies to distribute to City staff, PGS, and the City Council Members.
