Conner, <br />as City Clerk, beth thereunto duly authorized to ect, <br />hereinafter designated and called "City"; and ~he Housing <br />Authority of the City of Pleasanton, a state public body, <br />located and operatin~ within its area of operation, County of <br />Alameda, State of California, acting by and tl-~ough Peter <br />0hristensen, chairman of the board of com~issioners, and <br />Elizabeth Hall, executive secretary, both thereunto duly <br />authorized so to act, hereinafter designated and called <br />"Housing Authority"; <br /> <br /> W I T ~ ~: <br /> <br /> THAT, WHEREAS, Housing Authority was created pursuant <br />to section 34240 of the Health and Safety Code of the Stere of <br />California, upon a finding by the governing body of the City of <br />Pleasanton that a need existed for an authority to function in <br />said city and in the area of operation of said housing authorit <br /> <br /> WHEREAS. both city and housing authority by resolution <br /> attached hereto have declared that the need continues and still <br /> exists this date, particularly as an aid to the national <br /> defense efforts of the United ~;tates of America as manifest by <br /> the Parks Air Force Base near Pleas~nton; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the housing project known as Komandorski <br /> Village, hereinafter designated and called "Komandorski", <br /> developed by the Federal Government durtn~ %forld War II <br /> <br /> <br />
