MOTION: It was m/s by Thorne/Pentin to approve the staff recommendation, as amended, and to <br /> introduce and waive first reading of Ordinance No. 2075 approving a Planned Unit Development <br /> (PUD) Development Plan to construct 345 apartment units, an approximately 38,781 sq. ft. retail center <br /> consisting of four buildings, a new surface parking, and related site improvements on approximately 16 <br /> acres located at 3150 Bernal Avenue (southeast corner of Bernal Avenue and Stanley Boulevard); <br /> introduce and waive first reading of Ordinance No. 2076 approving a Development Agreement; waive <br /> full reading and adopt Resolution No. 13-636 approving an Affordable Housing Agreement; and <br /> waived full reading and adopt Resolution No. 13-637 approving a Growth Management Agreement. <br /> Motion carried by the following vote: <br /> Ayes: Councilmembers Brown, Cook-Kallio, Narum, Pentin, Mayor Thorne <br /> Noes: None <br /> Absent: None <br /> Vice-Mayor Cook-Kallio reported with great sadness that Karen deBaca Martens passed away <br /> unexpectedly over the weekend at the age of 64. Ms. Martens served the Pleasanton community as an <br /> activist and commission member. She was a long-time resident whose son serves as a Pleasanton <br /> Police Officer and who has several children and grandchildren residing in the community. She extended <br /> the Council's condolences to Ms. Marten's family and announced that a service would be held Friday at <br /> 10 a.m. at Grant Hitch Mortuary. <br /> Mayor Theme reported that both Dublin and Danville have accepted the invitation to the bucket brigade. <br /> San Ramon declined and Livermore is as yet undecided. <br /> 7.
