Las Positas Boulevard: Preparing an addendum <br /> and/or expanded initial study for the Housing Element Supplemental EIR <br /> Dear Brian: <br /> FirstCarbon Solutions/Michael Brandman Associates (FCSIMBA') is pleased to submit this proposal to prepare an <br /> addendum to a previously certified EIR for the Summer Hill Homes Residential Project at 5850 W. Las Positas <br /> Valley Avenue in Pleasanton. This property is identified as Site 13 in the Supplemental EIR, and as Site 33 in the <br /> Housing Element Background, prepared for the updated General Plan Housing Elemert, adopted February 13, <br /> 2012. <br /> Scope of Work <br /> FCS I MBA shall perform the following tasks: <br /> • Prepare an addendum in the form of an initial study checklist to confirm whether tie project would result in <br /> any new impacts that were not previously disclosed and mitigated as part of the St.pplemental EIR prepared <br /> for the Housing Element update. Preparation of the Addendum shall include air quality modeling (using <br /> CalEEMod). The Health Risk Assessment provided shall utilize accepted Bay Area Air Quality Management <br /> District methodology. It is assumed that all other required technical information will De provided by the City or <br /> Applicant via final drafts of technical studies. <br /> • Submit draft addendum within three weeks of receipt of the final drafts all technical studies <br /> • Revise the addendum following review and comment by the City. <br /> • Attend one planning commission hearing and one city planning hearing. <br /> Assumptions <br /> • FCSIMBA is not expected to prepare any technical analyses with the exception of general air quality <br /> modeling using CalEEMod; FCSIMBA will summarize and incorporate by reference the technical reports <br /> provided by the City <br /> • FCSIMBA will provide up to 25 hard copies of the addendum, as needed, for the planning commission and <br /> city council. <br /> • Cost will be billed on a percentage basis <br /> ' For Contracting purposes, FCSI MBA continues to do business under the Tax ID number of Michael Brandman Associates #95- <br /> 3782289 '1 4,0:1;44F 4 ` ' r ." <br /> pT t <br />
