Subject: FW: Ponderosa project on Stanley Blvd.
E,a::;!!:rit4 CAL MATERIAL
From: Brian Bourg
Sent: Monday, August 19, 2013 9:19 PM wd tC the City Council
To: Mayor and City Council ,ti r Distribution of Packet
Subject: Ponderosa project on Stanley Blvd. ,-y0/z
flats
Dear Mayor Thorne & City Councilmembers;
Chris and I strongly encourage you to allow the buyer of the old home on the property to
purchase and rehab the home, thereby preserving it as a part of Pleasanton's history.
This is certainly a win-win situation. Our community preserves a part of its history and
the buyers will have a beautiful old home that is part of their past as well. From what I
hear, they are very excited to have the opportunity to restore and live in a home that their
family lived in over 50 years ago.
Ponderosa can still have a nice development right next to this home that's over 100 years
old and rehabbed completely. Pleasanton keeps and preserves one of our early twentieth
century homes. THAT is a win-win !
Sincerely, Brian & Chris Bourg
