CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 860 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SUBSECTION 3 (OFFICE, COMMERCIAL AND <br /> INDUSTRIAL USES NOT IN C-N OR C-R DISTRICTS) OF SECTION <br /> 2-9.16 (SCHEDULE OF OFF-STREET PARKING SPACE REQUIREMENTS), <br /> OF ARTICLE 16 (OFF-STREET PARKING), CHAPTER 2 (ZONING), <br /> TITLE II (ZONING AND DEVELOPMENT) OF THE ORDINANCE CODE OF <br /> THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RELATING TO LIQUOR STORES PARKING <br /> SPACES <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Subsection 3 of Section 2-9.16, Article 16, Chapter 2, <br /> Title II of the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton <br /> is hereby amended by the addition of a new subsection "1", <br /> said new subsection to read as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. Liquor stores - one space for each 150 square <br /> feet of gross floor area except for floor area <br /> used exclusively for storage and/or truck loading. <br /> (For the purposes of this section liquor store <br /> shall mean - a business establishment the main <br /> function of which is the off-sale of liquor, <br /> wine and/or beer.) <br /> <br />Section 2. This ordinance shall become effective thirty (30) days <br /> after the date of its final passage and adoption. <br /> <br />Section 3. This ordinance shall be published once within fifteen <br /> (15) days after its adoption in "THE TIMES," a newspaper <br /> of general circulation, published in the City of Pleasanton. <br /> <br />INTRODUCED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Pleasanton on August 8, 1978. <br /> <br />ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Pleasanton on September 12, 1978, by the following vote: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Butler, Kephart, Wood and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAINED: Councilmember Brandes~~ <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />C~$a/~f~~ ~ H R.
