KOTTINGER PLACE BUDGET FOOTNOTES FY 2013/2014 Budget Operating and Maintenance Expenses: 6415 Carpet Cleaning Contract: Cleaning of resident carpets on a rotational basis, as well as common area carpets. 6515 Custodial Supplies: Representing year-to-date figures annualized with a 3% increase. 6520 Exterminating Contract: Regular pest extermination and termite control and eradication. 6525 Garbage/Trash Removal: Based on current costs. Does not include a rate increase. 6524 Security Supplies: Includes locks, keys,etc. Projected budget is derived from YTD expenses annualized. 6530 Security Contract: Includes lock and door repair, etc. Projected budget for this line item is derived from YTD :xpenses annualized. 6536 Grounds Supplies: Based on YTD expenses annualized plus 3%. The expenses include occasional material used by onsite staff. 6537 Grounds Contract: Based on YTD amounts annualized plus a 2% increase. 6540 Repair Payroll: Cost for 1 FTE Maintenance tech with a 2% increase over the previous fiscal year. 6541 Repair Supplies: YTD expenses annualized with a 3% increase due to increased cost of materials. 6542 Repair Contract: YTD expenses annualized with a 2% increase. 6543 Electrical Supplies: YTD expenses annualized with a 3% increase due to increased cost of materials. 6544 Electrical Contract: Based on the possibility of having to make additional repairs to the pull cord safety system 6546 Heating Cooling Supplies: Based on TYD expenses annualized with a 3% increase. 6547 Heating Cooling Contract: No expenses in this line item for the current year. However,this anticipates the potential for a vendor to repair an air conditioner or wall heater. 6548 Appliance Repair Supplies: YTD annualized with a 3% increase. 6554 Plumbing Supplies: YTD annualized with a 3%increase. 6555 Plumbing Contract: Based on 2011/2012 expenses with a 4%increase. The high amount for YTD includes special work to install pans under all water heaters which will not be required in 2013/14. 6560 Decorating Supplies: Based on YTD expenses annualized with a 3% increase. 6591 Cable Service: Based on 2012-2013 YTD expenses annualized with a 5%increase Taxes and Insurance 6711 Payroll Taxes: Based on a rate of$14.45%for the first$7,000 for each employee, and a rate of 7.65%th:reafter. 6722 Worker's Compensation Insurance: The current rate for Workers Compensation for Kottinger is$8.73 per$100 of payroll. Includes a 10% increase as a safeguard against a potential increase from the insurance provider. 6723 Health Insurance/Benefits: Based on the employer portion of insurance for employees who work more than 30 hours per week. Current rates for this are$496 per employee per month. Elderly&Congregate Services Expenses 6983 Service Coordinator: The service coordinator works approximately 22 hours per month.
