Public Comment Angelina Summers called the Council's attention to an increase in the number of people drinking beverages, eating food, talking loudly and generally disrespecting fellow patrons in the Pleasanton Library. She said she is a card carrying member of all local libraries and finds Pleasanton's to be the loudest. She asked the Council and staff to make impromptu visits to the library to see for themselves how the taxpayers' dollars are being used. She also asked that they address the children's drinking fountain, which has been broken for at least the last three weeks. PUBLIC HEARINGS AND OTHER MATTERS 21. Concurrent City Council/Library Board of Trustees item: Adopt a resolution approving the two-year Operating Budgets for fiscal years 2013/14 and 2014/15 and the 2013/14 fiscal year Community Development Block Grant Program Director of Finance Wagner presented a brief summary of the staff report, which was reviewed in greater detail at the June 4'h Council meeting. She stated that the two-year operating budget is a balanced budget, with revenues that provide the necessary resources to fund anticipated expenditures. City Council Minutes Page 3 of 13 June 18,2013
