FOR THE ANNUAL SIDEWALK <br /> MAINTENANCE PROJECT, CIP NO. 115012 <br /> SUMMARY <br /> The Annual Sidewalk Maintenance project consisted of removing and replacing <br /> damaged concrete sidewalk that presented potential trip hazards, installing new <br /> intersection ramps for accessibility, and repairing curb and gutter for better flow. <br /> Construction of the project is complete and ready for acceptance. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> 1. Accept the improvements for the project. <br /> 2. Authorize the City Clerk to file a Notice of Completion. <br /> 3. Authorize payment of the retention in the amount of $5,146.41 to Nor-Cal concrete <br /> thirty days after recordation of the Notice of Completion. <br /> 4. Authorize the return of the remaining funds ($6,691) back to the Annual Sidewalk <br /> Replacement project, CIP No. 125012, from which a portion of the funding for this <br /> project was provided. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> Funding for this project totaled $110,000 as outlined in Attachment 1. Expenditures <br /> totaled $103,309, leaving an unspent balance of $6,691. Staff is recommending the <br /> transfer of this balance to the Annual Sidewalk Replacement project, CIP No. 125012, <br /> from which a portion of the funding for this project was provided. <br />
