CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, ALAMEDA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1889 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE PLEASANTON MUNICIPAL CODE <br />SECTION 13.08.040 REGARDING OUTDOOR COOKING <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br />Section 13.08.040 of the Pleasanton Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as <br />follows: <br /> <br />"Section 13.08.040 <br /> <br />Fires. <br /> <br />A. No person shall build, kindle, or light a fu'e in any park and recreation <br />facility, including the Augustin Bemal Park, except in equipment established for <br />such purpose by the Director, except such use is permissible in the following <br />facilities if a Fire Permit from the Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department is <br />obtained: Amador Recreation Center, Century House, Pleasanton Senior Center, <br />and Veterans Memorial Building." <br /> <br />(Subsection B, no change.) <br /> <br />Section 2: <br /> <br />A summary of this ordinance shall be published once within fifteen (15) days after <br />its adoption in "The Valley Times," a newspaper of general circulation published <br />in the City of Pleasanton, and the complete ordinance shall be posted for fifteen <br />(15) days in the City Clerk's office within fifteen (15) days after its adoption. <br /> <br />Section 3: <br /> <br />This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) days after the date of its final passage <br />and adoption. <br /> <br />INTRODUCED at a regular meeting of the City Council of City of Pleasanton on August 5, <br />2003. <br /> <br />ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of City of Pleasanton on August 19, 2003 <br />by the following vote: <br /> <br /> <br />
