STATUS SUMMARY OF CITY COUNCIL CIP PRIORITY PROJECTS <br /> City Council CIP Priority Funding Status <br /> Bernal Community Park Phase II Lighted Multi- Included as a funded project; awarding of a <br /> Purpose Sports Fields(Including the Oak construction contract is estimated in Spring 2014. <br /> Woodlands Area) A project budget is included immediately after <br /> this narrative. <br /> Second Bridge over the Arroyo de la Laguna at This project has a reserve of approximately$1.2 <br /> Foothill Road million. In addition, this CIP includes $671,400 <br /> for the painting of the bridge. While the expansion <br /> is not currently fully funded, staff is exploring <br /> alternatives to address improved pedestrian access <br /> and other improvements with the goal of <br /> including them in the Mid-Te m CIP. <br /> Library and Civic Center Master Plan There is no additional funding in this C1P. The <br /> current project reserve is$1.9 million. <br /> Dolores Bengston Aquatic Center Improvements This project is under construction with completion <br /> scheduled for fall of this year. <br /> Old Stanley Resurfacing Project design is complete and construction is <br /> awaiting PGE funding for utilit under roundin:. <br /> Consider Improvements to the Pleasanton Pioneer This project is not funded in this CIP pending <br /> Cemetery staff and City Council review of project scope and <br /> funding options. As part of tiffs effort, staff is <br /> intending to utilize $25,000 to $50,000 from <br /> Contingency funds to prepare a project master <br /> plan. <br /> Iron Horse Trail: Permanent Alignment Underway with construction scheduled for <br /> Summer 2013. <br /> Valley Avenue Pedestrian Pathway Improvements This project is fully funded and under <br /> construction with completion scheduled for <br /> Summer 2013. <br /> Implement Stoneridge Drive Extension This project is fully funded and under <br /> construction with completion scheduled for fall <br /> 2013. <br /> Lions Wayside and Delucchi Park Redevelopment There is no additional funding included in this <br /> CIP. This project has a current balance reserve of <br /> $183,000. <br /> As indicated above, all of the City Council priority projects have either an existing reserve, are fully <br /> funded in this CIP, or will have other sources allocated to them. As the economy improves, and the City <br /> Council and staff further define project parameters, staff anticipates additional funding for the priority <br /> projects that are not yet fully funded. <br /> Based on project funding/status described above, staff is confident that this CIP addresses current <br /> infrastructure maintenance needs as well as new projects that will be an amenity to the community. <br />
