CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, ALAMEDA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 03-089 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RENAMING "TULANCINGO BULEVAR" TO <br />"TULANCINGO BOULEVARD" <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />on March 18, 2003, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 03-013 to name a <br />prominent street on the Bemal property as "Tulancingo Bulevar" to commemorate <br />the 20th anniversary of the Pleasanton-Tulancingo, Mexico sister city association; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />since that time, Pleasanton's Tulancingo Sister City Organization requested that <br />the name be changed from the Spanish "Tulancingo Bulevar" to the English <br />"Tulancingo Boulevard". <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br />The City Council hereby renames "Tulancingo Bulevar" to "Tulancingo <br />Boulevard". <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING WAS DULY AND <br />REGULARLY ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, AT <br />A MEETING HELD ON August 5, 2003 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />Councilmembers - Ayala, Brozosky, Campbell, Hosterman, and Mayor Pico <br />None <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO F~ <br /> <br />Michael H.
