The applicant/developer shall provide a dedicated electrical circuit within private <br /> garages for future installation of electric car charging outlets or shall install electric <br /> vehicle charging stations in the project. Whichever alternative is selected (dedicated <br /> circuit in garages or electric car charging stations) shall be shown on the plans <br /> submitted to the Building and Safety Division for plan check and shall be subject to the <br /> review and approval of the Director of Community Development prior to building permit <br /> issuance. <br /> Within the last 24-hours the applicant approached City staff about entering into a <br /> development agreement in order to make clear both the City's and the applicant's obligations <br /> regarding this project. Staff is amenable to this concept but notes that the process for <br /> approving the development agreement will include review by the Planning Commission and <br /> an introduction and a second reading of an ordinance by the City Council. Staff proposes <br /> that the City Council introduce the PUD ordinance this evening and complete the approval of <br /> the PUD at the time the Development Agreement is ready to be reviewed by the City Council. <br /> Staff therefore recommends City Council's action this evening be amended as follows: <br /> 1. Find that an Addendum to the SEIR may be prepared per CEQA Section 15164 the <br /> in the Addon,+,,... to «tie SEIR and find that the previously prepared SEI R, including the <br /> adopted CEQA Findings and Statement of Overriding Considerations, and the Addendum <br /> to the SEIR are adequate to serve as the environmental documentation for this project <br /> and satisfy all the requirements of CEQA; <br /> 2. Find that the proposed PUD development plan and development rem are is <br /> consistent with the General Plan; <br />
