<br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, ALAMEDA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 03-079 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE VINEYARD REALIGNMENT AND <br />TRAIL PROJECT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Vineyard A venue Corridor Specific Plan specifies that a master plan be <br />developed for the planned trail within the existing Vineyard Avenue right-of-way <br />and the trail be built, in conjunction with the East Bay Regional Park District, <br />alongside the realigned Vineyard A venue; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a draft master plan for the two trails, together with landscaping plans, have been <br />prepared by Thomas Baak & Associates; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the draft plan was reviewed at a public hearing by the City Council on June 17, <br />2003, at which time all interested parties were heard; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has found the draft plan to be consistent with the Specific Plan; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has further found that no new information or changed <br />circumstances has arisen since these trail plans were reviewed in the Vineyard <br />Avenue Corridor Specific Plan EIR, and all relevant mitigation measures have <br />been addressed in these plans; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section I: The City Council does hereby adopt the attached draft "Vineyard Realignment and <br />Trail Project," by Thomas Baak & Associates, consisting of Sheet "A" and Sheets <br />"L-l" through "L-8," attached as Exhibit A, as the master plan for the trails and <br />landscaping shown herein, with the following modifications: <br /> <br />a. Modify the "typical street/trail crossing-ramping" exhibit on Sheet "L-8" <br />to show an 18-foot street width with a flat concrete "curb" carried across <br />the trail, except for the Heinz property, which shall have 22-foot street <br />width across the trail; and <br />
