CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, ALAMEDA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 03-086 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AMENDING THE MASTER FEE SCHEDULE <br />CONCERNING TAXICAB RATES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the current taxicab rates were adopted in January 2000; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />due to increases in insurance rates and fuel costs, the taxicab companies in <br />Pleasanton have asked that the City increase the rates they may charge for <br />services; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, staffhas recommended a 10% increase in the flag drop fee and the per mile rate; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The City Council adopts new taxicab rates as follows: <br /> <br />Flag Drop $2.20 <br />Mileage $2.20 <br /> <br />Section 2: <br /> <br />The City's Master Fee Schedule, Resolution No. 92-100, shall be amended to <br />incorporate the new taxicab rates stated in Section 1 as follows: <br /> <br />Police Depm hnent <br />A. Special Permits <br /> 4. Flag Drop $ 2.20 <br /> Mileage $ 2.20 <br /> Standby $20.00 <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING WAS DULY AND <br />REGULARLY ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, AT <br />A MEETING HELD ON JULY 15, 2003 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> <br />
