THE CITY OF <br /> 1 <br /> "' CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br /> pLEASANTONo <br /> May 21, 2013 <br /> Administrative Services <br /> TITLE: ADOPT A RESOLUTION DECLARING RESULTS OF THE SPECIAL ALL <br /> MAIL BALLOT MUNICIPAL ELECTION HELD MAY 7, 2013 <br /> SUMMARY <br /> A Special Election was held on May 21, 2013 for the purpose of electing a short-term <br /> member of the City Council. The City held an All Mail Ballot Election and contracted <br /> with Alameda County Registrar of Voters to canvass the returns. The Registrar of <br /> Voters has completed the official canvass and has provided the City with a Statement of <br /> the Results of all votes cast for each of the candidates. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> Adopt the Resolution Reciting the Fact of the Special Municipal Election held on May 7, <br /> 2013, declaring the results and such other matters as provided by law. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> There is no fiscal impact associated with this action. <br /> Submitted by: Approve by: <br /> Kare Diaz Nelson Fialho <br /> City Clerk City Manager <br /> Attachment: <br /> 1.
