Ayes: Councilmembers Brown, Cook-Kallio, Pentin, Mayor Thorne <br /> Noes: None <br /> Absent: One Vacancy <br /> MATTERS INITIATED BY COUNCIL <br /> COUNCIL REPORTS <br /> Mayor Thorne reported that the LAVTA Board of Directors asked him to sit on a committee to examine <br /> transportation issues and the potential to combine transportation agencies in the Tri-Valley and Tri- <br /> City areas. It was unanimously agreed at the first meeting to eliminate the Tr-Walley based on its <br /> limited interaction with other areas. <br /> Councilmember Brown reported that she and the Mayor attended LAVTA/Wheels Bus' grand opening <br /> of the Atlantis wash and fuel facility. <br /> ADJOURNMENT <br /> There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 9:24 p.m. The Council extended a <br /> tribute to our nation's men and women serving in the military.
