RESOLUTION NO. 13-604 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON AMENDING THE MASTER FEE SCHEDULE TO SET FORTH EXISTING FINES FOR VIOLATIONS OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE AS PROVIDED IN SECTION 1.12.020 WHEREAS, the Pleasanton Municipal Code (PMC) sets forth in Chapter 1.12 [General Penalty], Section 1.12.020 [Infractions] Subsection A, specific monetary fines for violations of the PMC; and WHEREAS, PMC Chapter 1.24 [Administrative Citations], Section 1.24.040 [Amount of Fines] references fines set forth in the Master Fee Schedule as the fines applicable to violations of the PMC for which administrative citations are issued; and WHEREAS, while Resolution 96-133 referenced the fines in Section 1.12.020 as applicable to citations issued pursuant to PMC Chapter 1.24, members of the public have expressed some confusion with this reference and indicated that the fines amounts should be explicitly listed in the Master Fee Schedule; and WHEREAS, this amendment to the Master Fee Schedule would explicitly list these existing fine amounts for ease of understanding by the general public. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: SECTION 1. Amend the Master Fee Schedule, Section 1, Subsection C, as set forth in the attached Exhibit A. PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton at a regular meeting held on April 16, 2013.
