CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, ALAMEDA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 03-087 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF GLENN <br />KIERSTEAD (CALIFORNIA SPLASH LLC) TO CHANGE THE <br />GENERAL PLAN LAND USE DESIGNATION OF AN APPROXIMATELY <br />10.77-ACRE PARCEL LOCATED AT 3320 STANLEY BOULEVARD TO <br />THE "PUBLIC AND INSTITUTIONAL" DESIGNATION, AS FILED <br />UNDER CASE PGPA-07 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of July 15, 2003, the City Council received an application from <br />Glenn Kierstead (California Splash LLC) to change the General Plan land use <br />designation of an approximately 10.77-acre parcel located at 3320 Stanley <br />Boulevard to the "Public and Institutional" (P) designation; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on the proposed change and made <br /> recommendations to the City Council; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council determined that a Negative Declaration prepared by the East Bay <br />Regional Park District was appropriate for the proposed General Plan amendment; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on July 15, 2003 with respect to the General <br /> Plan amendment. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br />The City Council approves the application of Glenn Kierstead (Califomia Splash <br />LLC) to change the General Plan land use designation of an approximately 10.77- <br />acre parcel located at 3320 Stanley Boulevard to the "Public and Institutional" (P) <br />designation, as filed under Case PGPA-07. <br /> <br />Section 2: <br /> <br />The City Council determines that this is one of the four times in 2003 that the <br />Land Use Element of the General Plan may be amended as provided in <br />Government Code Section 65631. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
