Karen Diaz
From: Joanne Hall Provided to the City Council
ent: Friday, April 12, 2013 9:21 AM After Distribution of Packet
To: Mayor and City Council
Cc: Brian Dolan; Maria Hoey; Karen Diaz /
Subject: RE: Are roads structures? Date . y
Dear Ms. Newton: Thank you very much for your valuable input regarding heasure PP. This
message acknowledges receipt of your email, which will also be forwarded to the appropriate
departments. Thank you again for your interest in the City of Pleasanton.
Kind Regards,
Joanne Hall
Public Information Officer
From:
Sent: Friday, April 12, 2013 8:55 AM
To: Mayor and City Council
Subject: Are roads structures?
Dear Mayor and City Council,
The main reason people voted for PP, was to "Save Our Hills" and preserve Pleasanton's
precious hills from being damaged. It doesn't matter whether roads are defined as
"structures" or not; if you allow roads to be built, the hills and envi^onment will be
imaged through the process of construction and the roads will visibly scar the landscape.
dyer many years, through votes, letters, comments, etc. the citizens of Pleasanton have made
it abundantly clear that they want to preserve the hills! ! Please support all of the voters
who approved PP. . . and voted for YOU to represent us! ! (We did not vote for members of city
staff. ) Show the people of Pleasanton that you are accountable for the trust we put in you
and vote honorably to represent the vast majority who want to "Save our Hills" !
I hope that you will soon be able to proudly count the preservation of our beautiful hills,
as part of your legacy on Council.
Thank you for your consideration.
Sincerely,
Carolyn Newton
