Master Contract No. 900973, Procurement Contract No.7485 <br /> Attachment I <br /> SECOND AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT <br /> This Second Amendment to Agreement ("Second Amendment") is made by the <br /> County of Alameda ("County") and City of Pleasanton, ("Contractor") with respect to <br /> that certain agreement entered by them on June 20, 2012 and that certain First <br /> Amendment to Contract, (collectively referred to herein as the "Contract") pursuant to <br /> which Contractor provides operation and maintenance services of sewer and water <br /> systems to County. <br /> County and Contractor agree as follows: <br /> 1. For valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which are hereby <br /> acknowledged, County and Contractor agree to amend the Agreement in the <br /> following respects: <br /> • Extend and increase the contract <br /> 2. Except as otherwise stated in this Second Amendment, the terms and provisions of <br /> this Amendment will be considered to be effective as of the date this Second <br /> Amendment is executed by the County ("Effective Date"). <br /> 3. The term of the Agreement is currently scheduled to expire on Jung 30, 2013. As <br /> of the Effective Date, the term of the Agreement is extended through June 30, <br /> 2014. <br /> 4. In consideration for Contractor's additional services, the County shall pay <br /> Contractor in an additional amount not to exceed one hundred eighty five thousand <br /> dollars ($185,000). As a result of these additional services the not to exceed <br /> amount has increased from six hundred forty thousand dollars ($640,000) to eight <br /> hundred twenty five thousand dollars ($825,000) over the term of the Agreement <br /> 1 <br />
