EIGHTH AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT <br /> This Eighth Amendment to Agreement is entered into this day of 2013 by the City of <br /> Pleasanton("City") and Bartel Associates, LLC ("Consultant") <br /> Whereas, on July 1, 2006 the City of Pleasanton and Bartel Associates entered into a <br /> Professional Services Agreement for GASB45 —Other Post Employment Benefits (OPEB) Actuarial <br /> Studies and related services; and <br /> Whereas,the City needs ongoing actuarial services related to OPEB and Pension Actuarial <br /> Studies and the City wishes to continue to use Consultant's services for these purposes; and <br /> Whereas, the parties desire to amend to the Agreement; <br /> Now, therefore, the parties agree as follows: <br /> 1. Section 4 of the Agreement, "Term" is amended to extend the completion date to no later <br /> than June 30, 2014. <br /> 2. Section 5 of the Agreement, "Compensation" is amended to provide additional <br /> compensation in the amount of$33,000 for OPEB and Pension Actuarial Studies, for a <br /> total compensation not to exceed $183,000 unless the parties otherwise agree pursuant to <br /> section 8 of the Agreement. <br /> 3.
