BACKGROUND
<br /> Hatsushi Terrace is an isolated and partially constructed roadway that provides access
<br /> to seven parcels east of Montevino Drive. Currently, the only access to Hatsushi
<br /> Terrace is via a gated private driveway located off of Montevino Drive. In the future,
<br /> Clara Lane will be extended to Hatsushi Terrace and be used as a public roadway.
<br /> The Hatsushi family owns all of the existing parcels that surround Hatsushi Terrace.
<br /> Just one of these parcels has been developed and will require the property owners to
<br /> change their address.

<br /> DISCUSSION
<br /> Street name change requests are evaluated on a case by case basis. Prior to
<br /> recommending a street name change, staff investigates any potential concerns of the
<br /> Police and Fire Departments and potential impacts to affected businesses and property
<br /> owners. The Police and Fire Departments do not have any public safety concerns about
<br /> the proposed name change.
