ORDINANCE NO. 2063 <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> AMENDING TITLE 11, CHAPTER 11.20, SECTION 11.20.010, OF THE MUNICIPAL <br /> CODE TO SET AND REVISE SPEED LIMITS FOR PARTICULAR CITY STREETS <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br /> FOLLOWS: <br /> Section 1. Title 11, Vehicles and Traffic, Chapter 11.20, Speed Limits Section <br /> 11.20.010, Speed Limits in Certain Zones, of the Municipal Code of the City of Pleasanton, is <br /> hereby amended to add new subsections, amend existing subsections, and delete subsections, <br /> as follows: <br /> 11.20.010 Speed limits in certain zones. <br /> Based upon an engineering and traffic investigation and study, the prima facie speed <br /> limit shall be as set forth in this section on those streets, or parts of said streets, designated in <br /> this section when signs are in place giving notice thereof: <br /> A. Andrews Drive: <br /> 1. From Owens Drive to Old Santa Rita Road the speed limit shall be <br /> 35 miles per hour. <br /> B. Bernal Avenue: <br /> 1. From Foothill Road to east side of Arroyo Laguna the speed limit <br /> shall be 35 miles per hour. <br /> 2. From east side of Arroyo Laguna to laleasentonavenue Valley <br /> Avenue the speed limit shall be 45 miles per hour. <br /> 2-1. From Valley Avenue to Pleasanton Avenue the speed limit shall be <br /> 45 miles per hour. <br /> 3. From Pleasanton Avenue to Sunol Boulevard the speed limit shall <br /> be 35 miles per hour. <br /> 4. From Sunol Boulevard to Windmill Way the speed limit shall be 35 <br /> miles per hour. <br /> 5. From Windmill Way to Kottinger Drive the speed limit shall be 35 <br /> miles per hour. <br /> 6. From Kottinger Drive to Vineyard Avenue/Tawny Avenue the speed <br /> limit shall be 30 miles per hour. <br /> 7. From Vineyard Avenue/Tawny Avenue to Vineyard Avenue the speed <br /> limit shall be 30 miles per hour. <br />
