and shall be positioned parallel to one entire side of the building, or at <br /> least one of the access routes shall be as otherwise approved by the <br /> Fire Marshal. <br /> (iv.) Buildings or facilities exceeding 62,000 square feet of gross building <br /> area shall be provided with two separate and approved fire apparatus <br /> access roads. The roads shall be placed a distance apart equal to not <br /> less than one half of the length of the maximum overall diagonal <br /> dimension of the property or area to be served, measured in a straight <br /> line between accesses. <br /> (v.) If permanent access or site paving is not provided, the carrying <br /> capacity of the emergency vehicle access shall be 69,000 pounds <br /> under all weather conditions. <br /> (vi.) Site staging area(s) shall be provided for materials and equipment. All <br /> staging areas shall be outside of the emergency vehicle access route <br /> shown on the approved plans. <br /> (vii.) On-site fire hydrant(s) shall not be obstructed and shall be sufficiently <br /> above grade to have all hydrant valves and outlets accessible for <br /> emergency use. <br /> e. All construction shall conform to the requirements of the codes in force at the <br /> time of each building permit application, currently the 2007 California Code of <br /> Regulations, Title 24 and the City of Pleasanton Municipal Code. <br /> f. Automatic fire sprinklers shall be installed in all occupancies in accordance <br /> with National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Pamphlet 13 for commercial <br /> occupancies or NFPA 13D or 13R for residential occupancies. Fire flow <br /> requirements shall be in accordance with 2007 California Fire Code Appendix <br /> B and subject to review of the Fire Marshal. <br /> g. Provide a Hazardous Materials Declaration for this tenant avid/or use. Form <br /> shall be signed by owner/manager of company occupying the <br /> suite/space/building. No building permit will be issued until the Hazardous <br /> Materials Declaration is provided. A separate Hazardous Materials deferred <br /> plan review permit process is required for the service areas and buildings. <br /> h. Should any operation or business activity involve the use, storage or handling <br /> of hazardous materials, the firm shall be responsible for contacting the Fire <br /> Department prior to commencing operations. Underground fire mains, fire hydrants and control valves shall be installed in <br /> conformance with the most recently adopted edition of NFF'A Pamphlet 24, <br /> "Outside Protection". <br /> (i.)
