MINUTES <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br /> February 19, 2013 <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> Mayor Thorne called the regular meeting to order at the hour of 7:00 p.m. Councilmember Pentin lead <br /> the Pledge of Allegiance and provided introductory remarks. <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> Present: Councilmembers Brown, Cook-Kallio, Pentin, Mayor Thorne <br /> Absent: One Vacancy <br /> CLOSED SESSION REPORT: <br /> City Attorney Lowell reported the Council met in Closed Session on February 5, 2013 for conference <br /> with real property negotiators regarding property at 401 Old Bernal said the Council provided direction <br /> to its negotiators. The Council also held a conference with labor negotiators concerning its contract with <br /> the Pleasanton City Employees Association. Information was provided to the Council but no reportable <br /> action was taken. <br /> The Council also met in Closed Session for conference with legal counsel regarding the Lin vs. City of <br /> Pleasanton and no reportable action was taken. The Council's conference with legal counsel regarding <br /> anticipated litigation was not held and will be rescheduled for another time. <br /> AGENDA AMENDMENTS: <br /> City Manager Fialho reported that Item 13 was continued to the March 19, 2013 meeting. <br /> CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> Administrative Services <br /> 1. Approved regular and special meeting minutes February 5, 2013 <br /> City Council <br /> 2. Ratified at-large member appointments of Kay Ayala (Brown appointee) and Brock Roby (Pentin <br /> appointee) to the East Pleasanton Specific Plan Task Force <br /> City Manager <br /> 3. Accepted Commissioner Absences Report for the period of July 1 through December 31, 2012 <br /> 4. Ratified an appropriation from the Lower Income Housing Fund of $14,864.25 for a loan <br /> amendment up to $184,000 to preserve from foreclosure a below market rate affordable home on <br /> Whispering Oaks Way <br /> Community Development <br /> 5. Actions of the Zoning Administrator and Planning Commission <br /> Councilmember Brown asked whether the fenceline setback received any protest from neighbors. Mr. <br /> Fialho said "no." <br />
