ATTACHMENT 1 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13- <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> APPROVING THE ANNUAL PROGRESS REPORT ON IMPLEMENTATION OF <br /> THE GENERAL PLAN HOUSING ELEMENT FOR THE CALENDAR YEAR <br /> 2012 AND AUTHORIZING SUBMITTAL TO THE CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT <br /> OF HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AND THE CALIFORNIA <br /> GOVERNER'S OFFICE OF PLANNING AND RESEARCH <br /> WHEREAS, California Government Code Section 65400 requires cities to <br /> prepare an annual report on the status of, and progress on the implementation of, the <br /> General Plan Housing Element, and to submit that report to various State agencies by <br /> April 1st; and <br /> WHEREAS, a Housing Element Annual Progress Report for the 2012 calendar <br /> year had been prepared; and <br /> WHEREAS, on March 5, 2013 the City Council of the City of Pleasanton <br /> reviewed the report. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER <br /> THE FOLLOWING: <br /> Section 1. The report accurately reflects the City's progress in implementing the <br /> General Plan Housing Element. <br /> Section 2. The City Council authorizes submittal of the attached Pleasanton <br /> Housing Element Annual Progress Report - 2012 to the California Department of <br /> Housing and Community Development, and the Governor's Office of Planning and <br /> Research, as required by statute. <br />
