RESOLUTION NO. 13-595 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> AMENDING THE MASTER FEE SCHEDULE TO ADD A PROCESSING FEE <br /> FOR ZONING PERMITS FOR REQUESTS FOR REASONABLE <br /> ACCOMMODATIONS <br /> WHEREAS, on February 19, 2013, the City Council introduced an ordinance <br /> amending the Pleasanton Municipal Code to establish a zoning permit process for <br /> requests for reasonable accommodation when the strict application of the zoning <br /> regulations acts as a barrier for persons with disabilities who are seeking access to <br /> housing; and <br /> WHEREAS, this resolution adopts a modification to the Master Fee Schedule to <br /> include a $25.00 zoning permit processing fee for such requests for reasonable <br /> accommodation. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER <br /> THE FOLLOWING: <br /> SECTION 1. The Master Fee Schedule is hereby amended to include a <br /> processing fee of $25.00 for zoning permits for requests for reasonable <br /> accommodation. <br /> SECTION 2. Delegates the Director of Community Development and the <br /> Planning Manager the authority to waive such fee upon the determination of hardship in <br /> his or her reasonable discretion. <br /> PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of Pleasanton at a <br /> regular meeting held on February 19, 2013. <br /> I, Karen Diaz, City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton, California, certify that the <br /> foregoing resolution was adopted by the City Council at a regular meeting held on the <br /> 19th day of February 2013, by the following vote: <br /> Ayes: Councilmembers Brown, Cook-Kallio, Pentin, Mayor Thorne <br /> Noes: None <br /> Absent: One vacancy <br /> Abstain: None <br /> Karen 'liaz, City C <br /> APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> Jb an Lowell, City Attorney <br />
