Approved Teen Poet Laureate appointments of Arany Uthayakumar representing Amador High <br /> School and Diane Fu representing Foothill High School for a one school year term <br /> Vice-Mayor Cook-Kallio said that any opportunity for youth to share their writing benefits the entire <br /> community and she is delighted to have the City sponsor such an effort. <br /> Arany Uthayakumar thanked the Council for the appointment. She said she is very excited to see the <br /> program return and to have such a wonderful opportunity to inspire others.
