CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1017 <br /> <br /> APPROVING THE~APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> TO PREZONE AN APPROXIMATELY 250 ACRE <br /> SITE AT THE EASTERN TERMINUS OF JUNIPERO STREET TO <br /> THE PUD-LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL/OPEN SPACE DISTRICT <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton initiated a prezoning of an <br /> approximately 250 acre site, consisting of two parcels, <br /> at the eastern terminus of Junipero Street, which land <br /> is involved in Annexation No. 96, to the PUD-Low <br /> Density Residential/Open Space District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, based on the Initial Environmental Study indicating <br /> no significant adverse effects on the environment, <br /> a negative declaration was adopted by Council on <br /> January 12, 1982; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Council received the Planning Commission's recomm-enda- <br /> tion for approval of the prezoning; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on January 12, <br /> 1982; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds that this prezoning is <br /> consistent with the General Plan policies of the <br /> City of Pleasanton. <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY <br /> OP~AIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> Section 1: Approves the prezoning of an approximately 250 acre <br /> site consisting of two parcels at the eastern terminus <br /> of Junipero Street which land is involved in <br /> Annexation No.96, Go the PUD-Low Density Residential/Open <br /> Space District, subject to the following condition: <br /> That when a development plan is submitted on the <br /> subject property the City shall consider,'if requested <br /> a shift in residential <br /> by the property owner, <br /> density from Parcel 2, as shown on the accompanying <br /> map, Exhibit A, attached hereto and made part of this <br /> case by reference to Parcel 1, as shown on the same <br /> map. Density on Parcel i shall not exceed three (3) <br /> dwelling units per gross acre. Nothing herein shall <br /> be construed as guarantying any certain residential <br /> density on any part of the subject property. Specific <br /> density will be established only by approval of <br /> a development plan, and the City at this time is not <br /> approving any specific number of dwelling units on <br /> any part of the subject property. <br /> <br /> <br />
