Adopt a resolution calling a Special Election for the purpose of electing a Member of the City <br /> Council to an unfulfilled short term ending November 2014 <br /> Mr. Fialho presented the staff report, stating that the Municipal Code provides that a Council <br /> vacancy be filled via a special election at the next regularly scheduled election date, not less than <br /> 114 days from the call of the special election.
