CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1016 <br /> <br /> APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF T[IE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> TO PREZONE AN APPROXIMATELY 14.5 ACRE SITE IN THE <br /> VICINITY OF 2820 VINEYARD AVENUE TO THE PUD-RESIDENTIAL <br /> DISTRICT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton initiated a prezoning of an <br /> approximately 14.5 acre site consisting of two parcels <br /> located in the vicinity of 2820 Vineyard Avenue <br /> (eastern terminus of Chardonnay Drive) to the <br /> PUD-Residential District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, based on the Initial Environmental Study indicating <br /> no significant adverse effects on the environment, <br /> a negative declaration was adopted by Council on <br /> January 12, 1982; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Council received the Planning Commission's recommenda- <br /> tion for approval of the prezoning; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on January 12, <br /> 1982; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that this prezoning is <br /> consistent with the General Plan policies of the <br /> City of Pleasanton. <br /> <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES I~REBY <br /> ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> Section 1: Approves the prezoning of an approximately 14.5 acre <br /> site consisting of two parcels located in the vicinity <br /> of 2820 Vineyard Avenue (eastern Terminus of Chardonnay <br /> Drive) to the PUD-Residential District, subject to the <br /> following condition: <br /> <br /> That the property owner dedicate to the City for <br /> street right-of-way purposes a strip of land across <br /> the entire Vineyard Avenue frontage of the subject <br /> property ranging in width from 11 ft. on the east <br /> to 27 ft. on the west and totalling approximately <br /> 9,980 sq. ft. <br /> <br /> Section 2: The Zoning Map of the City of Pleasanton dated <br /> April 18, 1960, on file with the City Clerk, <br /> designating and dividing the City into zoning <br /> districts is hereby amended by Zoning Unit Map #241, <br /> attached hereto as Exhibit A dated January 12, 1982, and <br /> incorporated herein by reference. <br /> <br /> <br />
