CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA CO~qTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1014 <br /> <br /> APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF DAON CORPORATION <br /> FOR REZONING FROM HIGH DENSITY RESIDENTIAL AND <br /> OPEN SPACE TO PLANNED UNIT DEVELOP}~NT-COMMERCIAL <br /> AND OFFICES, HIGH DENSITY RESIDENTIAL AND OPEN <br /> SPACE DISTRICT AND FOR DEVELOPMENT PLAN APPROVAL <br /> FOR AN OFFICE, COF~ZRCIAL AND MULTI-FAMILY <br /> _RESIDENTIAL COMPLEX ON A 91.5 ACRE SITE BOUNDED <br /> BY STONERIDGE DRIVE, STONERIDGE MALL ROAD, 1-580 <br /> AND 1-680 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Daon Corporation applied for development plan <br /> approval for construction of an office/commercial/ <br /> residential development containing approximately <br /> 1,430,000 sq. ft. of office/commercial structures, <br /> a 300 unit hotel and 347 multi-family dwelling <br /> units on the 91.5 acre site in the area bounded by <br /> Stoneridge Drive, Stoneridge Mall Road and 1-580 <br /> and 1-680, and also applied to have the area rezoned <br /> from High Density Residential and Open Space to the <br /> Planned Unit Development-Commercial and Offices, <br /> High Density Residential and Open Space District; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, based on the Initial Environmental Study, a mitigated <br /> negative declaration was adopted by Council on <br /> January 12, 1982; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Council received the Planning Commission's recommend- <br /> ation for approval of the development plan and <br /> rezoning; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on January 12, <br /> 1982; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that this development plan <br /> and rezoning is consistent with the General Plan <br /> policies of the City of Pleasanton. <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES tlEREBY <br />ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: Approves the development plan for construction of an <br /> office/commercial/residential development containing <br /> approximately 1,430,000 sq.ft. of office/commercial <br /> structures, a 300 unit hotel and 347 multi-family <br /> dwelling units on the 91.5 acre site in the area <br /> bounded by Stoneridge Drive, Stoneridge Mall Road, <br /> 1-580 and 1-680, subject to the conditions on <br /> Exhibit "A" attached hereto and by this reference <br /> incorporated herein. <br /> <br /> <br />
