RESOLUTION NO. 12-586 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON APPROVING <br /> THE USE OF VEHICLE REGISTRATION FEE PROGRAM FUNDS <br /> WHEREAS, Alameda County voters approved Measure F Vehicle Registration Fee Program <br /> in 2010; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Alameda County Transportation Council administers the VRF Program; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton receives Vehicle Registration Fee Local Road <br /> Improvement and Repair funds on a quarterly basis based on population and registered vehicles; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the Alameda County Transportation Council requires the expenditure of funds <br /> to be approved by a public process; and <br /> WHEREAS, at a public hearing on December 4, 2012, staff presented a report regarding the <br /> recommended uses for Vehicle Registration Fee Funds. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: <br /> SECTION 1. The use of Vehicle Registration Fee funds for Ace Train Station <br /> Improvements, West Las Positas Boulevard at Tasssajara Creek Repair of Roadway Settlement, <br /> and Annual Resurfacing of Various City Streets is hereby authorized. <br /> SECTION 2. A copy of this resolution will be transmitted to the Alameda County <br /> Transportation Commission. <br /> SECTION 3. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and <br /> adoption. <br /> PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton at a <br /> regular meeting held on December 4, 2012. <br /> I, Karen Diaz, City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton, California, certify that the foregoing <br /> resolution was adopted by the City Council at a regular meeting held on the 4`h day of December, <br /> 2012 by the following vote: <br /> Ayes: Councilmembers Brown, Cook-Kallio, Pentin, Mayor Thorne <br /> Noes: None <br /> Absent: None <br /> Abstain: None a <br /> Karen 'iaz, City CU/k <br /> APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> Jonathan P.
