THE CITY OF <br /> 2 <br /> CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br /> pL EASANTON. <br /> December 4, 2012 <br /> Administrative Services <br /> TITLE: ADOPT A RESOLUTION DECLARING RESULTS OF THE GENERAL <br /> MUNICIPAL ELECTION HELD NOVEMBER 6, 2012 <br /> SUMMARY <br /> A General Municipal Election was held on November 6, 2012 for the purpose of electing <br /> a Mayor and two members of the City Council. The City consolidated its election with <br /> the State General Election and contracted with Alameda County Registrar of Voters to <br /> canvass the returns. The Registrar of Voters has completed the official canvass and <br /> has provided the City with a Statement of the Results of all votes cast for each of the <br /> candidates. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> Adopt the Resolution Reciting the Fact of the General Municipal Election held on <br /> November 6, 2012, declaring the results and such other matters as provided by law. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> There is no fiscal impact associated with this action. <br /> Submitted by: Approved by: <br /> k-faci <br /> Kar Diaz J Nels n ialho <br /> City Clerk City Manager <br /> Attachment: <br /> 1.
