EXHIBIT A AMENDING CHAPTER 18.106 AND SECTIONS 18.08.475, 18.28.030(A), 18.32.030(H), 18.32.040(P), 18.36.030(H), 18.36.040(Q) and 18.124.280 OF TI-IE PLEASANTON MUNICIPAL CODE SECTION ONE. Amend Section 18.08.475, Definition of Second Units," in its entirety to read as follows: "Second unit" means an attached or a detached residential dwelling unit which provides complete independent living facilities for one or more persons. It shall include permanent provisions for living, sleeping, eating, cooking, and sanitation on the same lot as the one-family dwelling is situated. A second unit also includes the following: An efficiency unit, as defined in Section 17958.1 of the California Health and Safety Code. A manufactured home, as defined in Section 18007 of the California Health and Safety Code.
