CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, ALAMEDA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 03-082 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE 2003-04 THROUGH 2006-07 <br />CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council adopted a Five Year Capital Improvement Program for fiscal <br /> years 2001-02 through 2005-06 on June 19, 2001; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a hearing was held on June 24, 2003 to review the Capital Improvement Program; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, staff presented a staff report (SR 03:188) regarding the Capital Improvement <br /> Program. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br />Adopts the Capital Improvement Program for fiscal years 2003-2004 through <br />2006-2007, as presented in Attachment A, but appropriating in FY 2004-05 $6 <br />million for converting the Fire Station on Railroad Avenue to a cultural arts <br />facility (to be defined by a subsequent Master Plan), and placing into the CIP a <br />minimum of $500,000, and a maximum of $1 million, for the Happy Valley <br />Bypass Road, with staff to present to the City Council recommendations from <br />where those funds should be allocated. <br /> <br />Section 2: <br /> <br />Adopts the appropriation of the revenues and approves expenditures for the <br />projects recommended for funding in fiscal years 2003-2004 and 2004-05, as <br />amended by Section 1. <br /> <br />Section 3: <br /> <br />Approves an adjustment to the Capital Improvement Program by moving the <br />Bernal Property Improvement Reserve Project from the Miscellaneous Category to <br />the Parks Category, as presented in Attachment B. <br /> <br />Section 4: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
