ATTACHMENT 1 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12- <br /> A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING FIXED AND UNIFORM REFUSE <br /> COLLECTION RATES FOR THE PERIOD COMMENCING JANUARY 1, <br /> 2013 <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton (City) and Pleasanton Garbage Service, Inc. <br /> (Contractor) have entered into the Refuse Collection Agreement (Franchise) dated March <br /> 6, 1989 for the exclusive regular curbside collection, transportation and disposal of dry <br /> garbage, refuse and recyclable material from the City of Pleasanton; and <br /> WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 9.20.090 of the City of Pleasanton <br /> Municipal Code, rates for Franchise services shall be set by a resolution approved by <br /> the City Council of the City of Pleasanton; and <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor shall conduct all billing related to construction, <br /> transportation, recycling and disposal of said garbage and refuse in strict accordance <br /> with rates listed in this Resolution. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE, AND ORDER THE <br /> FOLLOWING: <br /> SECTION 1. The fee schedule set forth in Resolution No. 09-275 is hereby <br /> rescinded. <br /> SECTION 2. The rates for the regular curbside collection, transport and disposal <br /> of dry garbage, refuse and recyclable material, including recycling, from the City of <br /> Pleasanton for Commercial Services, Residential Services and for Transfer Station <br /> Services, are revised effective January 1, 1013 as outlined in Exhibit A. <br /> SECTION 3. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its <br /> passage and adoption. <br /> PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of <br /> Pleasanton at a regular meeting held on November 27, 2013. <br /> 1 <br />
