P11-0824(Downtown Hospitality Guidelines),PI2-0798(Pleasanton Municipal Code Amendments)
Initial Study and Negative Declaration
corresponding EIR. The Pleasanton General Plan EIR required no
mitigation/improvement measures for cultural impacts and deemed all cultural
impacts without mitigation as being less than significant. The Housing Element and
CAP EIR does include mitigations for construction and demolition related impacts
on potential housing sites 6 and 21 identified in the EIR related to potential adverse
changes in the significance of historical resources which may be demolished and
the potential for grading/construction to adversely affect archeological resources or
destroy a unique paleontological resource or site or unique geologic feature. With
the mitigations in the Housing Element and CAP EIR, these impacts were deemed
to be significant unavoidable or less than significant. These mitigations would be
implemented as applicable for projects which involve construction or demolition on
these site. No construction or demolition is proposed as part of this project.
The proposed project is not anticipated to create any new or additional impacts
which have not already been studied in the Pleasanton General Plan and Housing
Element and CAP EIRs. Therefore, these would be of less than significant impact.
November 2, 2012 25
