CITY OF PLEASAXTON <br /> <br />P~SOLUTION NO. 2488 <br /> <br /> ~CEREAS~ the ordinances of the City of Pleasanton, in accordance with <br />State Law, required that the City Council of the City of Pleasanton meet at <br />this time to fix the rate for City Taxes~ designating the ~ount levied for <br />each fund aad must then levy the Tmxes upon the Tmxable property in the City: <br /> <br /> NOW TzYF~REFORB BE IT KESOLVED that the tax rates for the various funds <br />of the City of Pleasanton for the fiscal year 1955-1956 are hereby fixed as <br />follows: <br /> <br />The sum of seventy-three and one half cents on each one hundred <br />dollars of assessed valuation to be levied against all taxable <br />property in the City of Pieasanton is to be placed in the General <br />Fund. <br /> <br />The sum of two cents on each one hundred dollars of assessed <br />valuation to be levied afainst all taxable property in the City <br />of Pleasanton is to be placed in the ~.~sic and Promotion Fund. <br /> <br />The sum of ten and one half cents on each one hundred dollars <br />of assessed valuation to be levied against all taxable property <br />in the City of Pleasanton is to be placed in the Library Fund. <br /> <br />The smn of four and one half cents on each one hundred dollars <br />of assessed ~aluation to be levied againstali taxable property <br />in the City of Pleasanton is to be placed in the 1929 Bond Fund. <br /> <br />The sum of twenty-three and one half cents on each one hundred <br />dollars of assessed valuation to be levied against ail taxable <br />property in the City of Pleasanton is to be placed in the 1948 <br />Bond Fund. <br /> <br />The sum of twenty-sLx cents on each one hundred dollars of <br />assessed valuation to be levied against alii t~xable property <br />in the City of Pleasanton is to be place6 in the 1953 Improve- <br />ment Bond Fund. <br /> <br />,l~ng a total tax rate for the City of Pleasanton of one <br />dollar and forty cents on each one hundred dollars of ~-~sessed <br />valuation of taxable property. <br /> <br />AND BE IT FURTqER .RESOLVED that in accordance with the provision of Ordi- <br />nance No. 202 of the City of Fieasanton, the tax Collector of the County <br />of Alameda is hereby anthorized and directed to collect taxes for the City <br />of P].easanton at the rate set forth herein and in the n~nner and at the <br />time provided by law. <br /> <br />AND BE IT FtrRT!JER RESOLVED that this Resolution shall be published once in <br />tile "Pleasanton Times" a newspaper of general circulation~printed and pub- <br />lished in the City of P]easanton. <br /> <br />tdopted at a re%ular adjourned meeting of the Council of the City of P]easanton <br />held on August 22, 1955~ by the following vote: <br /> <br />AYES: Abrott, Cair% Hansen, !qector and Trimingham <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Approved this 22nd day of August, 1955 <br /> <br />Clerk ~f the City of Pleasanton C~.,..
