STRUTHERS, Jr. <br />Attorney at Law <br />City Hall <br />Pleasant on, California <br /> <br />Attorney f~r the City <br />of Ple asanton <br /> <br />CITY OF PLEASANT~ <br /> <br /> Resolution No. 2560 <br /> <br />Authorizing execution of Agreement <br />for State Administralzlon of Local <br />Sales and Use Taxes. <br /> <br /> WNE~EAS, the City Council this June 4, 1956, has adopted <br />Ordimanoe No. 261, sm ordia~moe imposing a City sales and use <br />tax; amd <br /> <br /> WHE1LEA~, said ordiaa~ee provides for performance by the <br />State Board of Equalization of all functions in the administra- <br />tion, operation and collection of said sales and use taxes; and <br /> <br /> WEEREA~, the City desires to contract with the State Board <br />of EQualization for such functions; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFC~E, THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br />HEREBY ~SOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. That the City of Pleasanton shall contract with <br />State Board of Equalization, State of California, for the adminis- <br />tration, operation and collection o~ sales and use tax ordinance <br />number 261. <br /> <br /> 2. That the Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby author- <br />ized to execute in the name of the City of Pleasanton the above <br />contract, as approved as to form by the City Attorney. <br /> <br />ADOPTED: June 4, 1956. <br /> <br />MAYOR <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> <br />
