CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA ORDINANCE NO. 1002 APPROVING TIlE APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON TO PREZONE AN APPROXIMATELY 230 ACRE PARCEL LOCATED ON THE I~ST SIDE OF FOOTHILL ROAD, SOUTIt OF SANTOS RANCH ROAD TO PUD-OPEN SPACE I'~EREAS, the City of Pleasanton initiated a prezoning of an approximately 230 acre parcel located on the west side of Foothill Road, south of Santos Ranch Road to PUD-Open Space; and ~EREAS, based on the Initial Environmental Study indicating no significant adverse effects on the environment, a negative declaration was adopted by Council on October 13, 1981; and WHEREAS, Council received the Planning Commission's recommendation for approval of the prezoning; and ~tEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on October 13, 1981; and ~IEREAS, the City Council finds that this prezoning is consistent with the General Plan policies of the City of Pleasanton. TIm CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASAI~ON DOES tlEREBY OP~AIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Approves the prezoning of an approximately 230 acre parcel west of Foothill Road, south of Santos Ranch Road, which land is involved in Annexation No. 89, to PUD-Open Space. Section 2: The Zoning Map of the City of Pleasanton dated April 18, 1960, on file with the City Clerk, designating and dividing the City into zoning districts is hereby amended by Zoning Unit Map ~232, attached hereto as Exhibit A, dated October 13, 1981, and incorporated herein by reference. Section 3: The City staff is directed to cause a Notice of Deter- mination to be filed pursuant to Section 5.4(g) of Resolution No. 77-66. Section 4: This ordinance shall be published once within fifteen (15) days after its adoption in "The Valley Times," a newspaper of general circulation published in the City of Pleasanton.
