("Affordable <br /> housing projects" are generally considered by City Council to be those projects which have <br /> 100-percent affordability). <br /> - Two hundred (200) units per year are set aside for major projects, or those projects with <br /> 100 or more units. <br /> - One hundred (100) units per year are reserved for"first come, first served" projects which <br /> include single residences and any other project that is not an affordable project, or a major <br /> project. Fifteen of the 100 "first come first served" are reserved for single-lot custom <br /> homes. <br /> In 2009, the Ordinance was revised to reflect that the 350-unit-per-year limit would Le exceeded if <br /> needed to meet obligations under the City's RHNA allocation. <br /> The program includes provisions for carrying over growth management allocations to subsequent <br /> years, borrowing allocations from succeeding years, and for use of unused major project and "first <br /> come first served" project allocations in each year.
