CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2589 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the ordinances of the City of Pleasanton, in accordance with <br />State law, required that the City Council of the City of Pleasanton meet at <br />this time to fix the rate for City Taxes, designating the amount levied for <br />each fund and must then levy the Taxes upon theTaxable property in the City: <br /> <br /> NOW ~EEEFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the tax rates for the various funds <br />of the City of Pleasanton for the fiscal year 1956-1957 are hereby fixed as <br />follows: <br /> <br />The sum of seventy-four and one half cents on each one hundred dollars <br />of assessed valuation to be levied against all taxable property in <br />the City of Pleasanton is to be placed in the General Fund. <br /> <br />The sum of five cents on each one hundred dollars of assessed valuation <br />to be levied against all taxable property in the City of Pleasanton <br />is to be placed in the Music and Promotion Fund. <br /> <br />The sum of six cents on each one hundred dollars of assessed valuation <br />to be levied against all taxable property in the City of Pleasanton <br />is to be placed in the Library Fund. <br /> <br />The sum of five cents on each one hundred dollars of assessed valuation <br />to be levied against all taxable property in the City of Pleasanton <br />is to be placed in the 1929 Bond Fund. <br /> <br />The sum of twenty-five and one half cents on each one hundred dollars <br />of assessed valuation to be levied against all taxable property in <br />the City of Pleasanton is to be placed in the 19~8 Bond Fund. <br /> <br />The sum of twenty-four cents on each one hundred dollars of assessed <br />valuation to be levied against all taxable property in the City of <br />Pleasanton is to be placed in the 1953 Improvement Bond Fund. <br /> <br />Making a total tax rate for the City of Pleasanton of one dollar and <br />fort~ cents on each one hundred dollars of assessed valuation of <br />taxable property. <br /> <br />AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that in accordance with the provision of Ordi- <br />nance No. 202 of the City of Pleasanton, the tax Collector of the County of <br />Alameda is hereby authorized and directed to collect taxes for the City of <br />Pleasanton at the rate set forth herein and in the manner and at the time <br />provided bylaw. <br /> <br />AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution shall be published once in <br />the "Pleasanton Times" a newspaper of general circulation printed and pub- <br />lished in the City of Pleasanton. <br /> <br />Adopted at a regular adjourned meeting of the Council of the City of Pleasanton <br />held on August 27, 1956, by the following vote: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmen Gerton, Hector, Orloff, Trimingham and Cairo <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Approved this 27th day of August, 1956 <br />Cerk o~:,~he City of Pleasanton <br /> <br />Mayor of the City of Pleasanton <br /> <br /> <br />
