CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 989 <br /> <br /> APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF VINTAGE ASSOCIATES, LTD., <br /> FOR PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT ZONING AI'D DEVELOPMENT <br /> PLAN APPROVAL FOR A 108 UNIT TOWNHOUSE PROJECT LOCATED <br /> ON A 7.19 ACRE SITE II~DIATELY BEHIND THE SHOPPING <br /> CENTER ON PICO AVENUE BETWEEN TAWNY AND PALOMINO DRIVES <br /> <br /> ~EREAS, Vintage Associates, Ltd. applied for PUD zoning and <br /> development plan approval for a 108 unit townhouse <br /> project located on a 7.19 acre site immediately behind <br /> the shopping center on Pico Avenue between Tawny and <br /> Palomino Drives; and <br /> <br /> WttREAS, based on the Initial Environmental Study, a negative <br /> declaration was adopted by Council on August 11, 1981; <br /> and <br /> <br /> WItEREAS, Council received the Planning Commission's recommendation <br /> for approval of the PUD zoning and the development plan; <br /> and <br /> ~atREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on August 11, 1981; <br />- and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City Council finds that this planned unit development is <br /> consistent with the General Plan policies of the City of <br /> Pleasanton. <br /> <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br /> FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: Approves the application of Vintage Associates, Ltd. <br /> for Planned Unit Development zoning and development <br /> plan approval for a 108 unit townhouse project located <br /> on a 7.19 acre site immediately behind the shopping <br /> center on Pico Avenue between Tawny and Palomino Drives, <br /> subject to the conditions on Exhibit "A" attached hereto <br /> and by this reference incorporated herein. <br /> <br /> Section 2: The City staff is directed to cause a Notice of <br /> Determination to be filed pursuant to Section 5.4(g) of <br /> Resolution No. 77-66. <br /> Section 3: This ordinance shall be published once within fifteen <br /> (15) days after its adoption in "The Valley Times, a <br /> newspaper of general circulation published in the City <br /> of Pleasanton. <br /> <br /> <br />
