IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEAsANTON, <br /> <br /> COUNTY OF ALAmeDA, STATE OF C:~LIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2715 <br /> <br /> WHF~{F~kS, in accordance with the provisions of the State law governing <br /> municipal elections, it becomes the duty of the Council of the City of <br /> ?leasanton to give notice of such election ~md to perform such other acts <br /> as are required by law; now therefore <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Pleasanton, that public <br /> notice is hereby given that an election will be held in the City of Pleasanton <br /> on Tuesday, the 8th day of April, A.D., 1958, for the purpose of electing the <br /> following officers: <br /> <br /> Two (2) Councilmen to serve for tile full term of four years; <br /> <br /> BE IT FUI{THER 1LESOLVED that said election be conducted in accordance with <br />law and that said election be held in one precinct to be known as Consolidated <br />Election Precinct "A", said consolidated precinct to be composed of the three <br /> <br /> election precincts in the City of Pleasanton, the boundaries of such precincts <br /> to be the same as those prescribed by the Board of Supervisors of ~lameda <br /> County for State and County elections; and <br /> <br /> BE IT FURT}iER RESOLVED that the polling place of said precinct shall be <br /> at the City Hall, Main and Division Streets, in the City of Pleasanton, Califor- <br /> nia; and that said polls shall remain open for twelve (12) consecutive hours; <br /> to wit from 7:00 o~clock A.M., until 7:00 o'clock P.M.; and <br /> <br /> BE IT ?URTHER R.~SOLVED that the City Clerk be and she is hereby authorized <br />~nd instructed to cause to be published in The Pleasanton Times such notices as <br /> <br /> are required to be published by law in conjunction with the aforesaid election; <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER KMSOLVED that the following named persons are hereby nomi- <br /> nated and appointed to conduct the aforesaid election: <br /> <br />Inspector <br /> <br />Judge <br /> <br />Clerks <br /> <br />Jewel Shotwell <br />Nancy Regalia <br /> <br />Ane Christianson and Virginia Ha~ilton <br /> <br /> AND BE IT FURT~R ILESOLVED that the compensation for each of the aforesaid! <br />election officers is hereby fixed at ten dollars ($10.00) <br /> <br /> <br />
