IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEAsANTON, COUNTY OF ALAmeDA, STATE OF C:~LIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 2715 WHF~{F~kS, in accordance with the provisions of the State law governing municipal elections, it becomes the duty of the Council of the City of ?leasanton to give notice of such election ~md to perform such other acts as are required by law; now therefore BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Pleasanton, that public notice is hereby given that an election will be held in the City of Pleasanton on Tuesday, the 8th day of April, A.D., 1958, for the purpose of electing the following officers: Two (2) Councilmen to serve for tile full term of four years; BE IT FUI{THER 1LESOLVED that said election be conducted in accordance with law and that said election be held in one precinct to be known as Consolidated Election Precinct "A", said consolidated precinct to be composed of the three election precincts in the City of Pleasanton, the boundaries of such precincts to be the same as those prescribed by the Board of Supervisors of ~lameda County for State and County elections; and BE IT FURT}iER RESOLVED that the polling place of said precinct shall be at the City Hall, Main and Division Streets, in the City of Pleasanton, Califor- nia; and that said polls shall remain open for twelve (12) consecutive hours; to wit from 7:00 o~clock A.M., until 7:00 o'clock P.M.; and BE IT ?URTHER R.~SOLVED that the City Clerk be and she is hereby authorized ~nd instructed to cause to be published in The Pleasanton Times such notices as are required to be published by law in conjunction with the aforesaid election; BE IT FURTHER KMSOLVED that the following named persons are hereby nomi- nated and appointed to conduct the aforesaid election: Inspector Judge Clerks Jewel Shotwell Nancy Regalia Ane Christianson and Virginia Ha~ilton AND BE IT FURT~R ILESOLVED that the compensation for each of the aforesaid! election officers is hereby fixed at ten dollars ($10.00)
