IN T-"~ CI~f COUNCIL OF T~qE CIl~f OF ~ L~,~S~ ~uN <br />COUNTY OF AL%~DA~ S~ATr~ ~)F G~LIFORNIA <br /> <br />~SOLUTION NO. 2707 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS the City and County of San Francisco is prohibited by charter <br /> provision from participating in the Bradley-Burns uniform sales tax law, and <br /> <br /> f~,tE.REAS the City and County of San Francisco has by ordinance granted <br /> sales and use tax reciprocity to neighboring cities and counties, and <br /> <br /> 'A~HEREAS the State Legislature has enacted permissive legislation nmking <br /> possible the extending of sales tax reciprocity to the City and County of San <br /> Francisco until April 1, 1959, <br /> <br />NO}I THEREFORE BE IT i~SOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />Pleasanton that the City does hereby express its willingness to grant sales <br />tax reciprocity to the City and County of San Francisco within the limitations <br /> <br /> of the State la~ and <br /> <br /> BE IT ~JRT~tER RESOLVED that P~yor Reno Cairo be and is hereby authorized <br /> to indicate to the ~lameda County [,Myors~ Conference the willingness of the <br /> <br /> City of Pleasanton to adopt an ordin~nce granting the said sales tax reciprocity, <br /> <br />PASSED ~',~D ADOPTED this 13th day of January, 1958. <br /> <br /> >.hyor of the City of Pleasanton <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />City Cl~k of the City of Pleasanton <br /> <br /> <br />
