CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA ORDINANCE NO. 985 O~RDINANCE REZOi]ING ONE ACRE LOCATED AT 5130 FOOTHILL ROAD FRO~i A (AGRICULTURAL) TO R-l-40,000 (SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL) DISTRICT WHEREAS, Billy R. Newnam applied to have an approximately 5.1 acre site located at 5130 Foothill Road rezoned from A (Agricultural) to R-I-40,000 (Single-Family Residential) District; and WHEREAS, based on the Initial Environmental Study indicating no significant adverse effects on the environment, a negative declaration ~as adopted by Council on July 28, 1981; and WHEREAS, Council received the Planning Commission's recommenda- tion for approval of the rezoning; and WtlEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on July 14, 1981; and ~{EREAS, City Council upon review of the application finds that the applicant's intent could be accomplished by rezoning only one acre of the property, which would also eliminate the possibility of the property being subdivided in the future on land which evidence indicates may be unstable; and WtlEREAS, City Council finds that this rezoning is consistent with the General Plan policies of the City of Pleasanton. TI{E CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES ~REBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Approves the rezoning of a one acre parcel containing the existing residence located at 5130 Foothill Road from A (Agricultural) to R-i-40,000 (Single-Family Residential) District. Section 2: The Zoning MaD of the City of Pleasanton dated April 18, 1960, on file with the City Clerk, designating and dividing the City into zoning districts is hereby amended by Zoning Unit Map ~-225, attached hereto as Exhibit A dated July 14, 1981, and incorporated herein by reference.
